The huge treasures collection of China emperor family is located not in China, as you could think, but in Taiwan, as it was moved there after Chinese communist revolution by republicans.
Now this largest collection of Chinese artifacts in the world holds around 700,000 items in all and it is displayed in National Palace Museum situated nearby to Taipei, capital of Taiwan. However, since the museum only has space to display around 15,000 pieces at any given time, then with the nowdays speed of showing exibitions(the displays are rotated once every 3 months) it would take near 12 years (!!) to see them all, such a vast collection is it.
